Childcare Associations Australia National President Amanda Morphett today launched the CAA Election forum on the Associations’ website.
Both the Minister, the Hon Mal Brough MP, and Shadow Minister Jenny Macklin MP were asked a series of questions about childcare policy in Australia, by outgoing CAA President Anne Clark.
“To get both side of politics engaged in a discussion on our own website sends a very powerful message to our members and parents about the critical importance of children’s services to the Australian Community” Ms Morphett said.
“At a time when the sector is facing increasing difficulty in attracting, training, and retaining appropriately qualified and motivated staff, service operators and parents are struggling to comprehend election promises and how they will be affected, it is important to give both parties the opportunity to explain their own policies and articulate their future directions for children’s services in Australia.” Ms Morphett said
